Ingredients:
1 box of linguine
½ pound shrimp (cooked or uncooked)
Any desired vegetables (peas, broccoli, etc.)
½ small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon canola oil
Lo Mein Sauce
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
½ cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon flour
Red Chili flakes (to taste)
What do to….
1. Cook pasta until ready. Drain.
2. In a wok, heat canola oil. Once hot, sauté onions until translucent.
3. If using uncooked shrimp, cook shrimp in onions and oil. If using cooked shrimp, save until the end.
4. Cook shrimp until orange.
5. Mix all Lo Mein sauce ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix well.
6. Once shrimp is cooked, pour Lo Mein sauce mixture into the wok (on high heat). Once sauce starts boiling, it should become slightly thick.
7. Lower heat. Put in pasta and vegetables. If you are using cooked shrimp, add the shrimp as well. Stir until pasta, shrimp, vegetables are completely covered in sauce.
