Ingredients:
1 Ib cooked ground beef
1 box of Jumbo Pasta shells
1 cup mozzarella cheese
½ cup parmesan cheese
1 egg
15 oz Ricotta Cheese (1 container)
½ cup of any type of pasta sauce, preferably tomato basil or garlic and onion flavored
What to do…
1. Boil water. After water is boiled, cook jumbo pasta shells for 10 minutes. The entire box contains about 42 pasta shells. Cook as many pieces as you want (above recipes is for the entire box).
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
3. In a baking dish, pour enough pasta sauce to cover the bottom of the dish.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta, Parmesan, and (1/2) the mozzarella cheese, the cooked ground beef, and the egg.
5. Once the pasta is done cooking, drain.
6. Fill each pasta shell with the cheese and ground beef mixture. Place in baking dish.
7. Once all shells are filled, put in the oven. If you are baking the entire 42 pasta shells, bake covered for 45 minutes. If you are only baking half the box, bake covered for 30 minutes.
8. After the designated baking time, pour the remaining sauce on the pasta shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
9. Place back in the oven for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
