Ingredients
1 lb cooked ground beef
1 can chili beans
¾ cup Pace Picante sauce (hot/mild depending on desired spiciness)
1 tablespoon chili seasoning
onions, peas, corn, any other desired vegetable (optional)
shredded cheddar cheese
What to do:
1. In a saucepan on medium heat, put in chili beans. Cook until slightly tender (1-2 minutes).
2. Add cooked ground beef and mix. Add Pace Picante sauce. Continue mixing.
3. Once you see the liquid in the mixture decreasing (2-3 minutes), add chili seasoning. Mix.
4. Add any desired vegetables (onions, peas, corn, etc). Mix.
5. Simmer for about 7-10 minutes until chili reaches desired consistency. For thinner chili, add water. For a thick chili, continue to cook until more liquid evaporates.
6. Serve with shredded cheese sprinkled on top.
